‘Mountain fold’ is an intimate portrait of a friend. The original photograph was screenprinted in black ink on lightweight Rives paper. The print edition was reduced to 3 prints and three folded frames were constructed to emphasize the emotional charge. The color on all three frames was added by dipping them consecutively into the same tray of marbling acrylic colors.

The object measures 12.5 x 6 x 4 inches.
