Homeland Insecurity

Homeland Insecurity (2018) is a book system consisting of 10 carousel books. Each accordion fold flexes into technicolor Rorschach dioramas. Two dimensional planes of solid color overlay to create kaleidoscopic voids, full of sweet illusions and jarring departures from symmetry. Ten unique books self-contained in two slipcases, each of which is displayed on their own bespoke shelving. Book’s format is 8 x 10 inches, and the installation extends to 48 x 96 inches.
